About Interactive Sailing on San Francisco Bay

Due to smaller group sizes it’s possible for us to get booked on the day you choose, so we recommend booking your sailing tour as early as possible to ensure availability.  See below to book your sailing experience now.

We recommend bringing comfortable sneakers or tennis shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen… It can get windy and cold so a warm jacket is a good idea. and definitely bring a camera. We’ll supply everything else.   

Just to be safe plan on arriving 15 - 20 minutes before your scheduled sailing charter departure. 

You’ll sail past the famous floating homes in Sausalito,  the Golden Gate Bridge, Up-Close and around the infamous Alcatraz Island and across the San Francisco city skyline. We may even have some close encounters with the local wildlife, we frequently see seals, sea lions, dolphins and the occasional whale in the bay as well as a large variety of sea birds that call the bay home.

Wear comfortable clothes , Shorts or Jeans, T-shirts, tennis shoes/sneakers and a warm jacket is a must.  (No heels, No dark sole or leather sole shoes).

Occasionally getting wet is a possibility, but for the most part not a big deal. There are covered areas on the boat where you can stay out of the wind and spray and stay warm and dry.

We provide free soft drinks, bottled water and Chips, and you can also bring your own outside food and drinks.  Wine is OK, but please no red wine or hard liquor.  (red wine stains white boats)

Severe weather in this area of California is rare and tours will proceed as scheduled in light rain and other mild weather conditions.  In the rare event that we have to cancel a tour due to severe weather,  we will offer you an opportunity to reschedule (subject to availability) or offer you a credit for a future date.

All of our Interactive Sailing cahrters are limited to 6 passengers max. No Exceptions.

Our typical sailing tour is approx. 2 hours;  However we also offer 3hr. private charters and can customize a private charter to fit your needs.

Our Captain is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish fluently.

We have an age limit of children no younger than 5 years..  This policy relates more to child's size than age as we need to be able to provide a proper fitting personal flotation device for each passenger.  

For our 2 hour Interactive, Private  and Sunset sailing experiences you may cancel and receive a full refund up to 24hrs. before your charter;  However, within 24hrs. of the scheduled tour we unfortunately can’t offer a refund as we have turned away other paying business to hold your reservation. we appreciate your understanding!

For special events such as our annual fleetweek and SailGP spectator viewing charters we Have a 2 week cancellation policy.

If you cancel within the two weeks prior to the event, we cannot offer any refunds as we’ve turned away other paying business to hold the reservation

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, should they appear under the influence of drugs or alcohol; or considered to be unsafe to themselves, other guests or crew members on or before the tour.
